I tried deleting the work folder, and it did the same thing

Tried rebooting too.

I woke up this morning, and I was back folding on that machine...so not sure what happened.

What a nice present for passing my old username.

My 3hr updates have gone from 700k/1mil range to 1.2/1.3mil per.

Re: Core 22 on Advanced

With the explosion of problems between beta and advanced (which is only a 2.5x increase from ~400 --> ~ 1000 GPUs), this unfortunately might be the only way to learn - I worry we might not have a diverse enough representation of systems in beta right now. Anyways, it's off advanced now, thank you all for your sacrifices. :) I get nice science logs with system configurations for all the failures now, so we'll go from there, see you with the next version!

So, looks like I'll need to set my machines to beta for the boost. Anything we need to do other than change 'advanced' in the config to 'beta'?

Now that core22/p11733 has been removed from advanced, I suspect support and discussion is supposed to be limited to the beta testing topic at FF. Everyone has "read" access to the beta testing topic, but only members of the beta team can post. There is nothing that prevents anyone from running the beta setting, but preferred that users join the beta team and participate in the discussion. Info for the beta team is in a thread near the top of the beta testing topic.

But to answer your question, I was able to get core22/p11733 assignment with the beta setting on one of my linux 1080Ti a few minutes ago, currently about 1.6 million ppd. My expectation on a core21 project is about 1.25 million ppd for a linux 1080Ti. Link to my summary and HFM benchmark data in the beta testing topic at FF. https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=31445&start=15#p305678

Yeah in reality you should not use the beta flag unless you are actually in the beta testing program. You can make a case to join the beta team but generally it is expected that you are active on the forums there
