Stupid Epox, I want my mobo!

They were suposed to restock all there resellers on friday (today) becuase just about everyone was out of there new mobo the 8k7a. Now they bumped it back to wensday, and so I have a brand new 1.4ghz athlong and 512mb of ddr ram just siting here with no mobo to test it out in! I even got rush deliver on the ram from crucial.com becuase I was expecting to have everything by the weekend O well maybe they are just fixing the 5v issue that would be a plus

Word from EPoX last weekend was that once they sold out of their last shipment to resellers they wouldn't be shipping anymore out until next month.

I'm not sure if this has to do with the high demand or the 5V issue. Probably a little both.

In your case, I can't say I hope they're wrong or right since I know you don't want a board with that voltage problem. Mine doesn't seem to be as bad as some. 4.93V load and 4.98-5.03 idle.

It'll be worth the wait no matter when it comes. Terrific board to play with...even though it only has a few, I always loved dipswitches and jumpers.

I ordered mine yesterday. I guess i'll have to wait or get a different mobo. I really don't want a different one though. Any other recomendations?

I had read in another thread that those folks who ordered through the tiger direct virtual store on epox's site would have to wait until tiger got more mobos in on the 10th? Who knows... I saw a couple on ebay today but the folks selling them need to step away from the crack pipe they were outrageous in price!

The fry's electronics here in sand diego have about 45 of the epox 8K7A+'s @ 149.00 plus tax Don't plan on buying them all , hehehe, still plan on buying 2 more for my self in the next few weeks to build another two seti crunchers..
If ya want one maybe I can ship it too you if you send me a money order..

That's news to me. And there is no 5v issue. That's Enermax and Macron's problem.
