is anyone using one of these?

just wondering how loud the fans are and if the cooling is very good?

i'm thinking of getting one for my 24/7 machine

thanks

Funny you should ask. if its the one on SVC.com, then yes Ive used one and I thought it was a really nice little case. I built a comp for a friend just a couple days ago and he bought this case.

For $80 you get a slightly smaller than average aluminum case. A couple inches shorter lengthwise than say a Lian Li. The exterior is nice, theres a large window and a shiny anodized finish wth a grain again similar to a Lian Li. There is a door over the CD-rom drives (kinda annoying) and a strange click-in/out tray to hold your keys or some screws. Kinda neat.

Interior is actually quite nice. On the floor of the case theres a diamond design that looks neat through the big window. What would have put this case over the top is a pull out mobo tray. Unfortunately there isnt one. The case does however have some nice features such as 2x120mm fans!!! They are VERY low noise, put out I would estimate 35-50 cfm. Could be better, but theyre really quiet. Front is a blue LED fan that lites up the grill pretty well. The hard drive cage is very nice, fits the HD's lengthwise with click in trays and rubber grommets that reduce vibrations.

Also the layout of the interior makes for a VERY clean wiring job. Although I mounted an ABIT IC7-G max2 in there and with its ATA conectors sdesways with the mobo, it was kinda hard to get the connectors in, was a little cramped. thats my only complaint, wish it had those few inches of length back.

Overall, great case for $80. Looks fantastic, nice features (many you wouldnt expect on a sub Lian Li, Coolmaster case).

If youre into modding I would suggest an 80 or 92mm exhuast fan in the top, any larger and there may not be room for a top CDrom.

Also an intake fan filter. Wish it had one.

Other than that, a fan replacement if you like a lot of airflow.

Nice case though, im tempted to buy one just for the hell of it, and I have Fush Zero. :D

i'll probably get a filter for the intake as it's gonna be on the floor.

i'll have to see how the temps are before adding any other fans.

at the moment in the generic case my 24/7 machine has a case temp of 40c & cpu 55c which isnt too good. my main rig is at 25c case & 38c cpu.

i need something thats quiet, but with better cooling ;)

Yeah I put a 2.6C HT P4 in the box i built (which is a completely foreign thing to me), ran it on one of those new Vantec heatsinks (the big flower copper/aluminum ones with the built in 92mm fan). The temps idle were 37deg cpu, 28 deg case. Not too shabby, and my room is a little toasy with 6 comps and a ton of electronics in it.

sounds good to me, i've got a zalman flower with 92mm fan in the 24/7 machine, nice and quiet but needs better case cooling :)
