So this is a Roku made by nvidia? $199 for a $29 product sounds about right. :)

Cross between a Roku and that little Steam Link set top box they came out with a while back.

Difference between this and the Link though is while the Link is compatible with any PC running Steam, this is limited to systems running modernish NVidia cards...

It's a hell of a lot better and more powerful than a Roku. It runs pretty base Android/Android TV and can side load applications and as freak said, you can use steamlink/sunshine/moonlight to stream your PC to it. It also direct plays most content, can use custom launchers, and can run a Plex server if desired directly from it

Specs aren't great for the price nowadays, just a small refresh of a product that's approaching 10 years old. 3GB RAM really drives it home about Nvidia cheaping out on RAM when a Raspberry Pi 5 at less than half the price has more than twice the RAM.

A Jetson Orin Nano costs just $50 more with a far newer chip, although that doesn't include a case or input device.

Best value would be a used Ryzen mini PC, those can be found on Ebay for about $100. Although there is the downside of buying used...

i dont remember paying $200 for mine...
The original or the refresh? I paid $150 for the original back in the day. The refresh wasn't better by enough to be worth getting.

And to really prove how much Nvidia is cheaping out, for $80 less, there's now a Raspberry Pi 5 with over 5 times the RAM. Not that it's that good a deal...
