I got the above on sale from SVC about a week ago, right after they started getting units in of the new fan. I mounted the fan to the heatsink with the YStech logo facing outwards.the fan seems to be blowing air away from the HS instead of blowing air on the HS. Is this the correct orientation? I have heard that doing it either way is ok. I have a duron 750mhz thats overclocked to 833mhz right now at stock voltage and the cpu thermometer on my MSI k7t limited edition motherboard reads about 42 degrees celcius under a full load. Should I rearrange the fan so that it is blowing air on the HS, or leave it be? Thanks!

I think your temps may be lower if you have the air blowing down on the fins. Some pin heatsinks work better with the fan blowing upward but this isn't always the case. Try both ways and see what5.01ks best for your system.

the ys will have an arrow pointing in the direction of the air flow so look at the fan and point it toward the hsf.
