Maybe I'll rerun test, flip cards and run again to see who scores better.

Of course the 9200 is DirectX9 compatable, it just doesn't support DX9. Like the Geforce4MX is DX9 compatable, it just runs everything in DX7 mode.

Even though it says "Dx9 compatable" doesn't mean it's a DX9 part. It just means that it can run DX9 app's, even though it breaks them down to DX8 or DX7 modes. DirectX is backwards compatable, so even a true DX6 part may be billed as "DX9 compatable"

It can be a little misleading;)

The difference is usually worded as "fully supports DX9" as opposed to "DX9 compatable"

Well, after all is said and done, appears I will siimply leave my GF3 where it is and give my daughter this card.

Well, and my son, that was already forogne conclusion.

Looks like my baby will not get a new GC this week.
