Can I simply put the 9800pro in cuz there are already ATi drivers installed, and then simply reinstall the latest drivers? Or do I need to set 'standard PCI adapter' before taking out the 9500?!

Just made the switch to a Hercules 3DProphet 9800pro 128MB. Not bad at all! It's a nice card with a blue PCB and copper GPU- and RAMsinks on both sides. I mildly OCed it for now @XT speeds of 412/730 and here's what I get...

real nice score, I can only muster 19k in 01 with core clocks at 475 mem clocks @730. I have the same card watercooled. though you do have 1ghz of processing power more and alot more mem bandwidth which makes sense.

That's with Catalist 3.10's However I'm running the card at stock speed right now cuz I got white pixels in some tests @412Mhz Core clock and I'm already getting 19.500 default. I guess the system backing up such a card really makes a difference. I came from a 9500np that did 14.000 in my rig, now that same card in a Celly 2.4 @3.2Ghz 1GB RAM system only does 5.500...
