Can it be done? I don't have my second card here yet, so I cannot measure, but I don't wanna go about finding another MCW5000 if it won't fit between the cards. Does anyone know of any blocks (besides the Maze 4's) that WILL fit in SLi? I would prefer the ones that cover the vga RAM also, but I can sink them if need be.

Do you have the mcw5000, or the mcw55? I have the latter, and I'd also like to know if there is any way to make it work in SLi as well.

just go with maze 4s and sinks its not worth the extra money

It is if you already have one of the Swifty's. Plus, I'll be using a 6000 on the Opty, so everything should flow properly if I keep it single loop (unlikely).

Exactly. I couldn't get a low-pro maze4; they were out of stock for a while, and I liked the look of the mcw55 so I bought it. I wasn't planning on going SLi, just volt-modding the card and going for high volts/clocks single cards. But lately I've been considering picking up another 7800GT because they are getting pretty inexpensive (~270).

Precisely what I am doing- and I should be able to pick up my second block cheap- if it'll fit. I guess I can just check tomorrow- the second card will be here.

Check it out and let me know, if you don't post here PM me please. Thanks a lot.

The 50 is 100% SLI compatible including DFI (we tested in house).

Awesome. I just saw an article where someone was using 2 of them in SLi before you posted. I think the MCW55 (what I have) should fit as well right?

New e-mail said that you can use a 50 and 55 in the same loop with no bad consequences. Good news for me if I don't score a MCW50 real soon. //heads for classifieds//
