I'm looking at getting a MC462 for my Asus A7A266...does anyone know if this HSF will clear on my board? I've been able to fit a MC370 on here, but it barely clears a resistor (that might not be the right term for the cylinder shaped pieces, but you get the idea). Anyhow, if this particular HSF will not fit, what are some other HSF's that will hold an 80 mm fan that would? I don't want to buy a fan adapter...I heard some of the GlobalWin's would hold an 80 mm fan. How would that work though if they come stock with a 60 mm fan? I'd like to go with a MC462 if at all possible, but I want to make sure it'll fit before I fork out the $75...

Thanks guys,

Jason

Hehe I just made a new post about alternatives to the MC462. I received mine (MC462) and there wasn't nearly enough room for it to fit in the A7A266. I am also looking for alternatives to this fan since my AMD 1.2GHz should be at my house tomorrow.

Good luck and don't but that MC462 if you have an A7A266,
-Mark
