The MCW462-U will probably perform better but probably weights more than the MCW372. I would get the MCW462-U, pretty sure that is the newest one!

EEP Get the 372! AMD has retired the motherboard mounting holes so new motherboards won't have em. The 462 NEEDS these holes! Get the 372 so you can keep your cooler longer.

Is AMD really getting rid of the holes in the mobo? Is it for the T-Bred

Just because amd says they are not need any more doesn't mean that they will be abondon by motherboerd makers. the maker that taylor to overclockers will probly still have them. MSI has already put out one without the holes. we will have to wait and see or just by the older kt266a boards

Well umm so far MSI and Asus have released mobos without the 4 socket holes...

---Really AMD should think about adopting Intel's mounting system...would save a lot of people heatsinks as well as help in thermal transfer given the ~100 pounds of force for intel retention systems...it's the one thing about Intel I REALLY like right now...

I asume you are refering to the dually boards. I don't think there would be room for two large waterblocks anyway.

Ya sure there would...Those gemini cool ones would work, just as the Swiftech MCW372...it's the same size as the socket itself!
