Hey Guys,
Well I've not quite given up on this old board, if I can just bump up the FSB I'll be good for a while yet!.
Alright here's the meat,
I have an Packard Bell Oem'ed AN430TX Motherbard with an
ICS 9147-01 System Clock Chip, there are jumpers on my mother board for 60/66 fsb selections, yet In the Specs for my ICS chip it is rated up to 83.3mhz.
They also state ( here http://www.icst.com/pdf/9147-01.pdf ) that the selection of FSB is programable into the chip!, now all I have todo is program the chip to see the jumpers as 75/83.3mhz instead of 60/66...
Just one problem.
How do I do this!?!?!
Either that or have someone write me a custom SoftFSB plug-in
My search has come down to that, unless anyone knows some bios hacks/mobo mods!
Any reply is welcome, I'm pulling my hair out here..
