System restore

I have a 80 gig hardrive running windows xp pro, What % should I set it for system restore? it is set at default now witch is 8 gig's of space. Do I need all that space reserved for system restore?

1GB is WAY MORE than enough for most users...8GB is insane Change it to 1 and use your hdd for your own personal storage...
