I had a [email protected]/266 AXIA TB , great to OC. ( Died though )

Now i have bought an 1.3/200 and it´s not doíng more then 1.45 : ( ...

What is wrong, looks to me that it wants more power than the 1.2/266.

Is it the FSB that is the magical thing that sets the limit for OC, or is 266 better than 200?

( Both AXIA´s with an Y )

Help !!

It's simply luck of the draw: You got a really good 1.2 and then a really bad 1.3, I might try using the chip on another hardware set up but mostly what matters is the manufacture date/code and since they're both AXIAs, they're both pretty good in general, sorry. Maybe someone else can suggest something but that's the way things go sometimes, sorry... :(

I am not so sure the chip is bad. I have seen a lot of reports that indicate that these(1.33-266) are not real great overclockers, and I can state personally that while it was still a bit chilly, I could get it somewhat stable at 1507, as the weather has warmed up, I have had to back the chip down to 1466. This is with watercooling, too. Strictly my opinion, but I think that these chips may be reaching the limitations of the architecture.
