T32 EOC WIR 16Feb18: Folding and mining. Two great tastes.

This week we see a lot of our regular long term folders changing thier names to <original name>_ALL_<string of numbers/letters>. By using the same passkey, they still gather points for team 32 but by changing thier name, they get folding coin credits. This combines two very tasty treats into one. We still get to fold for the greater benefit of mankind and we get to join in on the whole crypto coin thing. Thanks again to torin3 and HayesK who worked this out for us.

Generally speaking, the above table will show a lot of loss as the majority of these guys are starting over with their new coin folding names. While it will take a very long time to recover these spots, the team will prevail.

I've been 'required' to shut down folding a couple of times this week, and it looks like sporadically into the near term, as we are preparing to sell our home (sign in the yard, photographer today, little room left in the garage) and move. Already had one visitor from the sign and we won't be officially listed until tomorrow. The heat is on (pun intended) to keep my office temps down for potential buyers' visits, as well the transition will be less than commodious for folding, temporarily. Once we get a closing date on the new home there will be several days down completely. But the new digs are our dream come true, so there's that.

Having to move some stuff around at work, been trying to keep the 1080ti at home going to make up, not enough! Hoping to add another new old stock 970 that will get written off from inventory to the multiGPU system here soon. Some downtime on the 1080/Xeon1275 machine as well, not sure what happened, but I can't have APUs in the lab...regulations....

I will be down for a little while changing some hardware configuration (and moving some hardware too the basement). Hope to be back at full production (such as it is) soon though.

We have a warm wave moving through right now. I can't justify running air conditioning in February.

I have been down for a while myself. I had a EVGA 980Ti deciede that it was done. I just bought a 1080Ti from the classies here and put it into production yesterday. The best news is that my dead 980Ti has turned into a 1080 and is on its way here. WOOT!

I'm still working on moving my farm from one part of the basement to another. It's a project that I've been working on for months as I set it up the way I want. New wall mounting, electric, PoE switch, monitor and keyboard mount, etc.
