T32 EOC WIR 19Feb21: Not how much... but *if*.

Our friends in Texas are still in a tough bind but some are reporting conditions that are improving. I hope that things get back to normal for them. We also know that other parts of the nation are seeing big snowfalls and colder than normal weather so we hope the best for you all too. Of course, being in Michigan myself, we’re doing OK.

Team Conquest/Threat List

We are holding our own. Teams are still trying to get out spot and we are still telling them “NO!”. We have been trending flat for average points but we are now shoeing a slight decline. We are fine but we have room to improve if we can. In terms of folding power, there are actually 15 teams chasing us down. Now EOC only shows the top 5 on our threats list and I refuse to acknowledge more than that.

We need more. Not more per user, rather more active members. We don’t care how much you produce. The number is irrelevant. The number is a way to have fun as a metric whether looking to beat someone else or just to measure personal bests. The number is just a number. The work completed is work done for labs across the globe to help solve mysteries of proteins. That’s the important part. That and I want us to be the best over all others. Let’s just call it world domination. I’m looking for world domination. Let’s do it Team 32!

Competition in the top 20 is fierce! P4EE pulled a big upset in topping out as our #1 folder this week. I should have moved up to #13 but Bigblockk uh… blocked me. I guess he lived up to his name. No harm no foul. WhiteHawkEQ dropped to #7 due to power outages. Boo hoo. My power’s out so I can’t fold, or heat the house or eat or wash or… Excuses man. (Hope you continue to do ok in these adverse times WH.) You know that you’re a power house folder when you loose a few days of folding but still remain in the top 10 in ppw. We appreciate you.

Jokes aside, what I enjoy about the top 20 (32 this week) is how stable this list is. People move up and down fall off and jump in but overall, this list is steady. Steady is key to our success. Great job to you all, thank you and “Steady as she goes!”.
