We need to be on the look out for team helix there starting to match out weekly output there 40K points or about behide us but if we are not carefull they will be knocking at our door. Let start a drive to get some more boxes on.

I have one more system I can get on all I have to do is dig up a hard drive out of my junk.

We need to get some of the poeple that stopped folding for us back on we have some 400 inactive accounts. I know maybe 100 or even 150 are mistakes or such but thats still 250 to 300 or so poeple that stopped folding for us.

I just started folding a couple weeks ago, half time. I may switch to 24x7 on one box. I have 2 others that I could get folding. Also, I just recruited my boss for team 32.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Let's work with what we have and see what else we can come up with. Right now we have the start of a parts donation deal for the setup of new systems. This will get us somewhere, but it's hard to tell how much we will accomplish.
Second. (mentioned again)
One thing that everyone can do is flood the GD Folding thread with some good news/updates about folding. Maybe challenge everyone to show off. Talk a little about the reasons(which are different for everyone) that you do it. A little advertising never hurt and put some personality into it. Let's hit it up over the next week. Everybody. Let's see if we can get that thread to over 2000 views within the next 2 weeks. It needs fresh messages. If you do that then we can have it wiped (it is getting a little war torn). After it's wiped we can do it all over again. I really think it will help.

Maybe we could have some sort of challenge. Anyone have any ideas?
We are looking for ideas to increase our numbers. Asking people who used to fold to start again, although that does not mean that you have to PM everyone who used to run the client. That may not go over too well.

Post your ideas. We should be shooting for HardOCP. With the number of people that joined the team in the past we should be able to at least come close to their production.

and don't forget GD. That's one of the biggest topics in this forum. Cooling is right up there with it but we don't have a thread in cooling :)

I stopped folding for a while but now im back with a 1.2 celeron :) once i get my new mobo it will be overclocked to 1.6ghz :)

Great to hear it BigRed! Glad to see you're back at it. Good luck getting up to 1.6 :) Those new Celerons are pretty nice especially at that speed.

OK everyone. I did my part. Let's get as many posts page views in the GD thread as we can. In case you were wondering where to find the thread here's my post. http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=579494#post579494

We need a full team effort for at least a week(maybe 2) on this for it to help.

yea, we definetely need to kick it up a notch.
I've done a lot the last couple weeks, and will see what else I can do. my production has jumped from about 30wu/week to almost 100wu/week now :)

fold on!

3rd folder online :) it's a duron700 overclocked to 900 Mhz... it's used also for light use like wordprocessing etc. But basicly it will be running 24h/d I hope. 933Mhz didn't work ok anymore. Maybe @ higher voltage it would go... but I don't want to mess with that system anymore.

Its mobo was at repair (just to realize it was working 100%). I had a problem with that system cause a 8x8 fan power cable's wire shielding was not working and the metal wire was touching the metal case resulting in a shortcircuit. (the system didn't even beep when powering on lol) Well luckily it works now.

Looking good doer! Watch out for those bare wires ;)

It's looking good. More pimpage is needed. Keep'em coming. We can get up to at least 100-110 total replies which means we need 10-20 more, but an out and out flood of replies would be awesome. C'mon everyone. Let's see what a little team effort can do. :p

Ok am thinking of taken some money and getting 2 prizes. Am thinking of motherboards or maybe XP processors Around 200 dollars for both prizes. Or maybe a Motherboard and a processor. These will be new and supplied by me.

Maybe someone else can offer some other prizes.

As for what kind of contest am thinking about two contests.

One will be for the most improved in the standings over a one week or maybe a 2 week period. I will need to think of some rules for this. This would be for exsiting members and be based on the number of places they moved up and there over all placement. ie someone moving from 4th to 3rd is a harder move to make then from 200th to 100th. So I need some ideas on this a points base system maybe. Or am open to another idea for a contest.

The other contest will be for the most new recuits to the team for a two week period. And I will have to think and make some rules for this contest as well.

Am thinking MB and processors as maybe a way to help get someone running a new system or as an upgrade for there systems. So they can fold faster ;) Give me some ideas for rules and such.

robertm,
Think fast man. I just got done upgrading and my 1 week total hasn't peeked yet. j/k..Its a great thing:D

Ok scoring am thinking about

((1000-new standing/new standing)-(1000-old standing/old standing)*new standing)-(newstanding/2)

I think will will give the most poeple a chance to win.

This would be for the most improved ranking for a team member on a scale. Because if you look at the scores moving from 100 to 50 is not as hard in most cases as moving from 10 to 5

Poeple will have to sign up for the contest and I will pull the information from standford at one time two weeks later as close as I can to the same time I will pull the stats from stanford again. Then I will decide the winner. Final information will be post in a new tread for poeple to sign up- for the contest.

The prize will be an XP 1600 processor. I need some feadback good bad or what ever.
