What I have got to learn by this board is that it is very good for FSB overclocking but really bad with multiplier.

I get about 1377 mhz 8.5 x 162 from my 1 gig axia. But I can´t reach that by lowering fsb and increase multiplier. That is strange isn´t it?. Is there anything I seem to forgot?

if you can't change your multiplier at all from 8.5 then it sounds like you got a bad board... but if your board was bought recently and not one from 3 months ago, that would definitely be a weird problem...

Yeah, some version 1.2 boards (before March 01 I think) have a misplaced resistor at the top of the board by the Dimm slots. See FullOn3d's Iwill FAQ for a pic. if you do have a bad board, Iwill will replace it, there is a "RMA" link at the FAQ as well, Good Luck!!! My board hates Win 2K, gotta turn off USB just to get it installed, decided it was too much trouble, and I'm running Win ME right now... Oh well...

I can run 1377 with both 8.5 x162 and 10 x137 so there can be somthing wrong with your board try the latest bios.

no 1.498 is not 1.500! j/k

the board is great much much better than my msi-6309 and except for the manual everything is great on this board down to the nice little jumpers that are easy to use.

Is the conflict between the SBLive and KK266 overrated? I want to get this mobo tomorrow... What about the U100 feature? Any special tweaks or can you just hook up your u100 drives and your good to go?

Unless you are using 4+ speakers ,the onboard sound is very good. SB Live is a great sound card, but the majority of us do not use it to its potential.
this is by far the easiest board to O/C with, it can get the most out of even average RAM. Although my board is RMA'ed, I would get another w/o hesitation.

if you flash to the newest bios or anything above the 042601 you will be fine with the sblive but onboard is nice!

does on board use the CPU a lot?

i am thinking about buying this board as well.
I want to use the onboard sound but i think it will use most of the cpu while in use. The sblive uses less from what i heard and if you want to overclock i would think disableing the onboard sound would be the best way to go
