Hey all

I just recenatly built a 1Ghz T-bird using the Asus A7V133A board.Not oc
i am wondering why the software (asus probe ) gives me such a significant
Temputure difference from what the bios says? Which is more accurate?
and i did download the most recent update but still the same.

Bios reads ( 44C/111 F)
Asus Probe software(55C/131 F)

Thanks for any help

The BIOS is Always right. Software can be screwed up, but your bios is always right. Either way, your chip is running pretty hot! You might want to get some better cooling

Thanks for the info I thought that software was not always accurate..Just wanted to make sure..So what temputure should i be running at?
I am using a Global win Fop-32 HSF with standerd thermal grease
and have a fan in front blowing in and one in back blowing out plus have a
slot fan blowing out and a 2coolpc duct fan inside. How do i get this thing to run cooler?

Thanks again
