I know where the socket temp for the CPU is located, but how would I go about determing where the mobo temp is gotten from? I recently install a SP-97 and a new NB HSF, and while CPU temps have dropped a bit, mobo temps have risin. They used to be 30c MAX, load, hot day that type of thing. I believe this is from the extra heat being blown around from the new heatsinks and not a rise in actual mobo temp.

I would like to verify this by finding out where those temps are read from. Are there any websites that break down where mobos read from? I have already picked apart the Soyo website, and I know where the chip responsible for getting temps is on my mobo. I just need to know where the actual sensor is reading from.

Thx.
