MBM5 (motherboard monitor)
sisoftware Sandra
and more... check around MBM5 appears to be a good one... sandra is more for benching and stresstesting, but it also reads temps...

ive got a proggie called winbond hardware doctor, shows me my temps/volts/rpm's pretty nice proggie, i suggest you download MBM5 i dont know the web adress, but google + "motherboard monitor" should do the trick..

I use MBM5, and bios for confirmation. However, a voltmet. is the most accurate source.... The windbond chips and similar are mainly to monitor for extreme voltage-falls(or rise).

Hi, all these programs are good, but i would just like to remind you that these temps are not too accurate. They should give you a decent ballpark but motherboard sensors and netoriously innacurate. Also, sometimes due to the program simply not reading the sensor properly, or because of a bad sensor, temperatures will be WAY off. As a general rule, if it is verry illogical, its probly not right.

That's a fair point Zerilous, and I'm sure you're right.
Basically if my readings are inaccurate it doesn't matter as long as they are consistently inaccurate.
I mostly just use the app to see if a new fan setup has improved things or not.

The most comprehensive diagnostic program I have come across is AIDA32 which includes monitoring CPU temps and fan speeds along with every thing else in your computer.

Thanks I do look at my bios but I wanted to be able to find out my temps while in Windows. I'll download them all and give them a whirl and see which is close to my bios thanks all
