whats anyones honest opinion of my cpu running at 45C all the time? Am i gonna burn it up if i run at that temp all the time?

its a 1.6 P4 @ 2.0

Is that idle? or full load? Im presuming idle since you stated all the time. Whats the temp of it at full load? That is the temp you need to worry about, much more than the idle temps. Granted, you do need to watch those, but that temp should be ok.
If the full load temps get much higher, you could run into problems with it freezing up or maybe even damaging the CPU.

thats runnin pretty much at full....i've got prime95 and winamp running pretty much all the time so i would assume that its fine...thanks

Ok yea, if thats at full load then it should be ok overall. IMPO I try to stay in the 30's and Im happy. But some that dont go for extreme measures like the lower 40's.
