How do I fit a temperature probe (from a DigiDoc5) on to my T-bird 1,33 in a matter that won't make my cooler less effective?
My combo is this: 1,33 Tbird, Coppershim + Arctic Silver II with a Taisol CGK on top..
Any tips on how to mount all this in the most effective way is also VERY welcome (it's not mounted yet)

Thanx

Why not search through the HSF tests that OCer's.com does on their front page? They seem to always drill a hole in the HS then put the tip(or the actual thermistor) of the probe in it. They must have covered this in detail--I hope.

My problem is that I really don't have any special tools :-/..
Should the probe be on the middle of the cpu? Or can I make do with just putting it on the side? And lastly.. Does it have to be between the cpu and the heatsink? (Sound like a stupid question, but anyway *S*)
