temperature readout

i've seen some LED screens on some comps that read out the temperature of the CPU, i would like to know how to do that? Please give me some ideas and info

do some reading around youll find it. (how often is this question posted here?!? Gosh!! DigitalDoc5 and compu nurse are 2 brands (actualy those are LCDs with LED backlight)

My suggestion would be to brouse the catalog a www.mouser.com They have numerous lcd displays, and controllers of all different sizes.

Although I've never tried to make something like that, I have always drooled over the displays thinking of what I could do with them
