I was looking up posts about overclocking my Venice chip, becaused I need to know what to keep my Voltage away from. Well I was reading posts with ppl saying that the temps are off by a few degrees if your using a windows based sensor. Well that is not true at all. I opened up my windows based sensor and looked at the temp and it read 28C. Well I restarted my PC from the start menu and went into my BIOS menu when the option for it popped up. My temps read 34C and it continued to rise in the BIOS until it reached 37C. So I was thinking well the BIOS must be giving me the right readings since it read 34C righ when I got into it. I left out the BIOS and went to my desktop and opened up my windows based monitor and noticed that my CPU temp was at 34C and it started to decline. I was like WTF is going on with my PC, so I set their for 5min waiting for it to reach its normal idle temp of 28C. It reached 28C and I pressed the restart button on my PC instead of resetting the PC from the desktop, well I hurried and jump into my BIOs and the temp read 30C and it started rising until it got back up to 37C. So their is nothing wrong with the windows based sensors The BIOS is working the CPU. Just incase anyone knew that already im sorry for wasting your time reading my posts.
