ok so i just got home and HWbot is back up so no more 91k 8800GTX :(
i will do a redo!

Anybody have the GF contest background saved? It's the one (1) thing I didn't get before HWBot went down again.

Had another go of the Vision SuperPi32, need to find somewhere cooler or better cooling for any better than this unfortunately. Couple seconds better time anyway.

I'd see if your RAM can go anywhere, with 32m it can make a noticeable difference with memory speed + tighter timings.

Memory speed is definately a game changer in spi32 get it as high as you can even if you need to clock you're CPU down a notch to gain extra mem clock

It will go 2133 at 10-11-11-28-1T almost/if not stable. I'll give it a go when it's cooler. From looking around my kit won't reach what a lot of others are reaching with FX. Could be the CPUNB holding the Ram back, my 965BE and 1090T had strong CPUNBs but this FX seams very weak.

Hmm, the FX chips are supposed to have a really good IMC in it. Do what I do an slap a fan above the RAM blowing down onto the sticks :) does a good job when you can't take them sub-zero :)

Focus on lower clock and tighter timings , imc won't show big performance gain from memory clocked above 1866 on FX. I don't know your ram but try something like 1866 or 2000 8-10-9-27 or 9-10-9 1T. Voltage up to 1.7V should be enough.
You are right about CPU-NB. On these cpus imc is main problem with memory performance and it's clocking lower than on Phenoms. Still you can make something about 2700-2800 or at least ~2600.
Better SPI times are on WinXP with turned off all useless processes ( then you will have about 15-16 max without special tweaking ). If you stay with Win7 then it will be about 24 and you can always turn off explorer ( open it again after test ).

If any of y'all have GPUs fit the bill perfectly here, run 'em yourself. Then if you want them modded and run on DIce with a 5.5-5.6GHz (or better) IB CPU let me know. I'll do it. You get the card back afterwards if you want it, living or dead.
Do know that the card may well expire in the process.
