got worlds second best E6600. if that helps, i will get my dewar filled and bench it again :)

Should bench it for worlds best.
Downside: At 5.5GHz it'll get beaten by a q6600 at 3GHz.

wish it could go to good use within a competition :bang head! it would definitely become worlds #1 chip if someone on the team had a REX that I could borrow. I have been trying to get the team to lend me one for a weekend for ever :)!

Update!!!! 6/19/2012

We still need your help!

We are currently in 4th place overall in the Team Cup.

In the AMD/ superpi32m contest we are currently 6th place.
This event is the first one to close and we need all the help we can get! There are 2 categories, in which, we do not have any results. We need anyone that has a AMD K6,K6 II, or AMD K6 III cpu to submit a result. We also have no result submitted for a K7 cpu. So anyone that has one of those: Please Submit a score!

In the core2 era cpu/ UCbench contest we are currently 7th place.
We have 4 categories with no submissions! We need to get those scores in!

In the Geforce contest we are 5th place. We also have some categories without submissions here, but there is a lot of time left for this contest. If you have an earlier model of card (AGP) we do need you to submit.

Good work so far to everyone that has submitted a score! Here is our Leaders so far.

Yeah ME lol , I'm going to work on that 6400 as I'm sure I can do better but it's frustrating to say the least ggggrrrrr

ya all i got left to do is my Q6600 will post when i can
Edit also do you still want that 4600ti?

Probably, I can get a board pretty easily to run it, but the main problem is getting a E8600 or quad 775 that is fast enough to get good results. My budget currently is very low. I will let you know.

My 3rd got beaten, I tried tweaking some things (mostly CPUNB) and ran a 16m 24.927s for Vision SuperPi32. Not good enough to take third back (16m 22.490s). It is has a bit more in it just have to find the sweet spot.

Needs moar cold!!

Hmm, I've got a couple of K7's and a 462 board, and a couple Core 2 E4000 series CPU's. Well, and an E7500, but I doubt it would beat the already submitted result on an E7400 by much if at all.

So, if I were to be able to compete I might be able to help out a bit in those areas.

I wouldn't count on any astounding scores from me in the K7 arena though, since I don't have any aftermarket coolers that would fit 462 and/or mounts for them on hand and I have zero experience in K7/462 overclocking.

Thought about possibly making a go at the K8 arena, but I doubt my 939 CPU's stand much chance against the likes of AM2 and AM2+.

Still waiting on a board for 775 benching.

Give 'em a try!
We are here to assist you if you need any help. Any score is better than no score, plus there is no better way to learn, than to do it.

Even if you come last in the k7 class it will still net the team 7 points as there are hardly any submissions in that class, so it's a win win no matter what

From looking at my past scores I should be able to help out 3dMk03 a decent amount with my 580. I really need to get a refill on my dewar.

I have a K7 there, but the board is an OEM one that I can't overclock.

I could gladly send the processor to someone if they were going to OC it, as long as the post didn't want a couple of my limbs. Or I could just start it and bench it stock. It's a 2600+ IIRC.

And maybe I have a couple K6 at work.

EDIT: I may also have some old 256 or GF4.

It can't be stressed enough, if we have no result in any category and you have SOMETHING to fill in that gap, RUN IT! Even 18th place gives us 1 point!!! Alot of the rarer things have only 3 or 4 submissions and coming in at 6th or 7th place gives us 12 or 13 points!! Run it, run it, RUN IT!!! :D
