Anyone use one of these?

How you rate it?

also i'm thinking of getting an enheim 1048 pump will it give me enough gph to cool a 152W peltier??

Culing Cube is an excellent radiator. Combined with the Eheim 1048 pump, it will surely be enough for cooling the 152W peltier with no problem. I recommend you to use the MAZE2 waterblock from Dangerden as well. Although it's little pricey, it provides better cooling(not significantly though) and better install on mobo. (Uses 4 holes around the CPU socket.) I'm using the Cooling cube, MAZE2 block and Danner 500GPH currently but going back to Eheim 1048 due to noise. Eheim 1048 is almost noiseless.

Good luck.

Maze2? ive ordered and a-MAZING water block from dangerden..same thing?

:)

d'uh forgot anotehr question..

do u run the enheim inline or submersible...
and do u have a resevoir?

if you run it inline and dont have a resevoir, how do u go about priming the system and bleeding air from the system?

Nope not the same thing.

The block you ordered is the first generation waterblock, which works pretty darn well (think its right up there at the top of the performance bit). The Maze-2 is their new block, with a different slant on how the maze works (cold water right on the core area), and also the four bolt attachment method.

Hmmm will that make much difference as i will be using a 152W peltier?

The Maze2 does work better than the Amazing block. With the water flowing directly on the CPU, it may be even more important on a non-pelt system. Outside of the improved hold down system, the other advantage it the Maze2’s ability to use two pelts side by side.

About pump size, I prefer a bigger pump. The Cube can handle it.

hey, why stick with a wimpy radiator like that! Do what I am doing for a rig I am building, get a small car radiator. About the smae price but it dissipates the heat very easily(of course) but also does not need a fan to be used with it for it to dissipate the heat. I am using a fan, but one moving very very slow just to make sure :). But the price for a used one is really not too much more. Just kinda hurts your portability a little bit.
