I have a bunch of older PC stuff I'd like to donate to the cause like PCI video cards, some RAM, NIC cards and more.

Is it Kosher for me to ask for reimbursement of shipping for some of the larger items?

If that's ok, do I just post what I have here?

If you are asking to be reimbursed for the shipping charges, that is something that must be handled via PM, as long as you want to stay on the good side of the rules, IIRC. Also, go ahead and post up a list of what you have, and it will get added to the list. Also, if you see someone posted a need for something you have, you are more than free to shoot them a PM to let them know what you have available.

Does anyone know what happened to luckybob69? He was supposed to send me a PSU, but he seems to have dropped off the board. I've PMed him, and haven't gotten anything in return. His stats say he hasn't logged on since 6 July.

I have a wired 4-port 10/100 Netgear RP114 "Web Safe Router" that I recently was given, to offer. I also have a Verizon DSL modem/wireless router somewhere in this mess I call my office. I'll find it if someone has a use for it. A couple of Netgear PCI NIC cards also.

My secondary folding box needs a GPU (ideally one that can do linux folding, but it doesn't have to be) and a PSU to power it. Right now it's a silly little e1200 doing linux SMP, comes to 1600ppd or so. But it does do it 24/7

Been meaning to post this up... I have a Cooler Master 330W ATX PSU (Brand New) from a case pull that is available to any T32'er willing to cover shipping it anywhere in the CONUS.

If it'll run some sort of halfway decent folding GPU, i'm all over that.
Like i mentioned above, my work box (24/7 folding) needs something better then a rosewill 350 before i can put a gpu in it.

EDIT:
In the interest of short term honesty, until december 1st both boxes are 24/7 rosetta for the contest. After that, it's back to FAH.

I have recently repaired an 8400GS PCIe 16x card. Originally it would artifact on the screen. I replaced a bad capacitor and 'baked' the video card via the 'oven trick' method discussed on this very site (just search for "oven trick" in the display section).

So far, I've run furmark on the video card and no artifacts appear. Right now I'm folding on the video card. If it folds with no problem for at least a week, i'm willing to give it away to someone dedicated to folding.

It can be converted to low profile, and the thermal paste has been replaced with a better kind.

And a request. I am looking for some PC133 SDRAM for an older computer that I just upgraded. It's just an email/Facebook/iTunes/AIM machine, but it was a Thunderbird @ 850 (OC to 1.0GHz) and I now have an XP2000+ running in it. However, the memory I have is only PC100, so all I can get out of this thing is 1250MHz. With PC1333, I should get a nice 1666 or better if the memory will OC a bit. The motherboard can handle up to 1.5 Gigs of memory. 512 would be nice, but more is always welcome.

Yeah, it's only going to be Folding standard stuff, but it is something.

I just tossed a board out a month or so ago, all it needed was to be recapped. Is that PCI or PCI-E that you need? The one I tossed was AGP and DDR1.

What specs ram? speed/ddr or ddr2

I need a new mobo before I can say what type / speed of ram. But I want ddr2 800Mhz. I thought my 1 Gb stick survived but I tried it in my friends comp and it's dead. Any mobo with ddr2 dual channel and pci express would work. I would buy it myself but I'm totally broke like I said before. Until I can find a job (which isn't easy right now) I have nothing but my old laptop that can't even run F@H.
