The "I need something to finish my Rig" Thread

I have my old A64 s939 CPU + ram...All I would need is a hard drive and motherboard (fried the board with some juice..) I can pick up a cheap local case + basic PSU to finish the rig up.

Anyone have a old s939 mobo and tiny hard drive?

I am thinking this might be an easy one, I need 2 socket AM2 coolers, AMD stock is more than OK. Not directly for folding rigs but need it for systems that I need to get rid of to help pay for some folding hardware....

I have stock 775 coolers to offer/trade to anyone if it helps

Glad you were able to get one. By the way, what part of Oregon are you in? I was just there about a month and a half ago on vacation in Coos Bay. I also have some family in Medford. Will probably be heading that way again next August as well.

Also, the Biostar board in my sig is starting to have NB problems. Atleast I think it is NB. It keeps messing up RAM timings, voltages, and I came home a few times to see the CPU running slower than the old PIII I had. I tried reflashing the BIOS, and resetting everything in BIOS, with no luck. I am looking for a 775 board, preferably a P35 based board, but anything that will work and leave room to upgrade to a dual or quad. I can find a cheap PCI-E card for vid, The Egg always has something good enough to get me by.

i have 512mb DDR400 (ballistix) and i might have 2GB of DDR2 800 i have to wait and see. I also have some other parts but im not sure what works ill post more later

I have a stock Intel 775 cooler if anybody needs it. I MAY have a laptop hard drive and a 3.5" hard drive avilable too, need to test both of them.

I am also in need of 2GB of DDR2 RAM for my second rig. 1GB is not enought espically with the A1 core, after a few hours folding cpu usage drops to 50% because there isnt enough RAM to go round. Having to set 16MB of RAM as video ram doesnt help either
