Basically a hexa core (6 core but 12 threads) socket 1366 CPU with no cold bug (at least on the ES's out in the wild ; ))

Lower minimum and maximum power consumption than i7, sub 1V is enough for 3G.
Looks really good, unfortunately too good to price it affordable when the server market will stand in line for it.

If AMD can be competitive to high end i7 with it's consumer 6 core cpu, we will see lower priced i9, sooner rather than later.

Judging by i5 750 VS Deneb that sounds too good to be true for me, but couldn't be more happier if Thuban would be competitive with i7, I could upgrade all our rigs to 6cores.
