That's right. Our team's members want you to try your best to beat our 3dmark2001 scores. Step up to the plate, take a swing or 2 or 50, and show us the stuff your graphics card is made of... not to mention your own personal overclocking prowess.

Instructions:

We compare 3 different types of scores. Any or all of these are welcome.

1) Default- obvious right? default cpu speed and default card clocks. All tests run. Default benchmark settings.

2) Stable- This is the one that counts! Must be able to play games continuously for minimum of 3 hours/or run 3dmark loops and cpu stability testers for same length of time. Cpu and card overclocked, but stable. Zero artifacts. All tests run. Default benchmark settings.

3) Suicide- anything goes. Highest possible score you can get. Default benchmark settings.

Labeling- you must label your scores in this general style. We do this
so people browsing madonion can see just how good the people here at the overclockers forums are at overclocking.

Benchmark name: <your screenname> www.overclockers.com 3dmark Team

Benchmark description: Include stuff like brand/card type, clock speeds, card cooling gear, driver version, stability testing method(for stable scores only), general system info(cpu, motherboard), any mods to the card, (for suicide scores only)add a disclaimer such as, "Not 100% stable at these speeds, not an official overclockers 3dmark team score."

Email your compare url's(and what type of score/s), your card type/maufacturer, and your cpu type to RainMaQer or Malakai. They'll verify your score(make sure its published on Madonion!) and add it to our 3dmark team website. Cheaters will be ridiculed to no end!

Our website may eventually be helpful to prospective video card buyers, if we can get enough scores on it. All the info could turn out to be a useful tool for people wondering, "what card should I buy? What brand? How high can I overclock it? What's a good way to cool it? What's a good driver? Etc."

Check out our sticky and the website. Join our team and send us your scores. The site Overclockers 3dMark Team is ever-evolving, and may be down from time to time as it grows and changes.

And someone, please knock me out of 1st place for geforce 2's! I dare you to try! We all challenge you, no matter what card you've got!

cards

Any card, any score. Our site doesn't have everything yet, but we'll be upgrading it soon...

submitting

Nice scores! You'll be in 1st place on the team for a TNT2 card. Best way to submit your scores and join the team is to send 'em by email or PM to RainMaQer or Malakai.

Edit: I just emailed your scores to RainMaQer and they should be on our site at the next update...

Got a 3Dlabs section? I might be able to convince my people to let me borrow the Wildcat 4210 256 meg card. If not, I could still use my VX1...

If I get a score for a card thats not in there yet.... I'll add it just for that score... not a problem. Just been putting off the updates until my new mobo is up and running... just waiting on some ddr for it. I have backups of everyone's score and I'll be updating by the end of the week.

Where's a good place to download 3Dmark? half the sites linked by madonion don't have it, the other half seem to give me a corrupt copy that won't install, bah! I only get 20 megs or so.

Thanks RainMaQer, that one downloaded real smooth.
However *kick* I think I must have *kick* a problem with *kick* my hardrive *kick* or Netscape *kick* or the OS *kick* because it's still doing it *kick kick kick*

*sigh*
Thanks anyway, those other sites behaved a bit wierd so I wasn't sure it wasn't them, but that one seemed to work no problems, so it must be me.

scores

Welcome to the Team, Robert!

I'll copy/paste those scores and email 'em to RainMaQer(You're da bomb Rain! I know you're reading this), who hosts and updates our site. Nice scores, BTW! It'd be good to put the name of our team in the project name for the benchmark (so people browsing Madonion can see how baddA** the overclockers 3dmark Team really is), and stick the info on the settings and such in the project description of the benchmark. Read the first post in this thread again for the guidelines for labeling and submissions, for future reference. Your scores will appear on our site within a week or two of being received. And you'll take 1st place for the Geforce 2 Ultra category!!!! Don't worry though, I riled up some people earlier (in a friendly way) so you and me with our Geforce 2's should have some more competition very soon. Once again, welcome to the Overclockers 3dmark Team!

Edit: Email has been sent to RainMaQer with your scores.
