So 2 x 40 cfm @ 800 rpm say = 80 cfm ah that's why then! OK a member gave me this about Fans Pierre to look and study! So have look and see what you think my friend?

Thats a lot of reading, but thank you.

I have ordered myself an AsRock Z77 WS, and i am selling my MSI, the AsRock will give me more space between the 2 GPU's, and also x16 between the cards.
I was never really 100% happy with the MSI, its not a bad board, but it was never really happy with it.

The new fan will be put in today, see what happens, and if i need to make a mount for it some day.

Your welcome anytime to help a friend, try to keep me posted and good luck on the new Mobo as well. Phil.

I got my 140mm, and installed it.

Turn up to full speed and ran 3dmark11 4 times. Temps have dropped 5/6 degrees on the top GPU. Surely worth it.

Even on the lowest setting its still cooler, idle temps have dropper about 4 degrees when fans are set to slowest.

OK at least its cooled things down are you happy with how its set up. I think you said someone is going to make a bracket for your case. But i know you could save all this by having a fan on the door! AJ. :chair:

The bracket is more to hold the GPU's from sagging. The new motherboard should give the top GPU a lot more breathing space. We'll see how it turns out.

Can i ask you about the new board i can not find any in depth reviews? So what you think about Pierre! Phil.

Its pretty much an AsRock Z77 Extreme9 without Wifi/blutooth and a few other things i dont care about.

The main reason i want it, is, the x16 when running 2x GPU's and also the fact that the PCIe slots for going dual GPU are spaced so there will be 1 PCIe between the gpu's giving me room for air flow.

Please remember when im talking temps, the max my cards get to is 74/75degrees. Now its down to 64/65 under 3dmark11, havent tested with game yet, will do tomorrow before i rip it apart again.

OK yeah and i am on only 50c to 60c at the most here with my cards, well have to go now see you soon Pierre. Philip.

And we are back to nothing, yet again! I need to buy more black zip ties.

AsRock Z77 WS tomorrow, and an almost full rebuild.

That Bitfenix white case looks nice and yeah back to bits and pieces my friend.

I hope its OK since the rip on the box will wait with anticipation and see how it turns out!

The box has been beating around, and will be mentioned to the company that sent me the mb, but the motherboard looked fine inside, will take a closer look once im home.

Thank goodness for that i don't think you could stand another delay after all this changing around, that would not be fair!

Ok, you may read the first topic, but im going to make an edit.

Yes im pissed off about the situation, and the threatment from the shop, but i am home now, looked at the board, it seems fine, and i will use it. But this was the last time i bought anything "big" with this company.

After a critical email with photos, and questions, i was presented with a standard email, about how to return.

Returns work like RMA, i send them, they sit around for a weel, they open, claim nothing is wrong send it back, or what ever, im not going to bother.

But im not pleased, hopefully building the rig will calm me down.

If your up set now is not the time to build you rig, why to easy to make a mistake when your mind is else where right now! Calm down first go for a walk or something else before you make a start i would. Try to relax Pierre my good friend, yes its easy to say, but i only wish to help you. Philip.

The re-re-rebuild (i have lost count now :screwy:)

As people may have picked up by now, im very picky about wiring, and general inside the case.

Now to bring everyone up to speed.

Since the last rebuild, just over a week ago, i decided to replace my MSI Z77 MPower. I am one of the few people, along with Nebulous, do dislike that motherboard, given that Nebulous possibly hates it more, with a passion i presume  When his hate exploded, somehow so did mine and my feelings bout the MSI Z77 MPower, so i figured, this is my time to sell my MSI and replace it with something i may like more. I disliked the MSI bios beyond belief!
I put the MSI for sale, and ordered an AsRock Z77 WS. Not much is known about this motherboard, no reviews, no youtube videos and pretty much only info is 1 post on a random forum, and AsRocks own webpage.

I picked this motherboard, for the placement of the PCI-e slots for use with dual GPU's, oh and the color scheme and well, i already own an AsRock B75M ITX, and i have had no issue with it, i figured i'd go all out AsRock.

The MSI was sold yesterday, and my AsRock Z77 WS came today. The box looked beating by the postal service, and gave me a slight fit of rage, but im over it now, and i spent time relaxing and rebuilding my rig.

Specs with this build.
AsRock Z77 WS
Intel I7 3770K
8Gb Corsair Vengaence 1866Mhz
128Gb Kingston SSD
2x harddrives, forget names and size, they are pure slaves
2x Sapphire HD7970 Ghz Vapor-x 6Gb
Corsair AX750
Corsiar H70 (v1)
2x Arctic Cooling F9 TC fans on H70
4x Enermax Cluster UCCL12
1x Enermax Cluster UCCL14
Lite-On Dvd-rw
About a zillion black zip ties!

Now the rebuild, yet again!

First up, i remounted the Enermax cluster UCCL14

The new AsRock Z77 WS.
Apart from a ruined box, the motherboard seems very nice, a lot of nice features i was missing from the MSI Z77 MPower, more SATA3's, less annoying LED's, the gold caps area nice touch. But i dont like the locking system they picked for the PCI-e slots. Thats a downer.

Installed in case.

Started to run wires below the motherboard, to hide them as much as possible.

PSU, and SSD are back in the case.

First shot of the back, which im putting alot more work into this time around.

All done.

I booted the system up, and went into a very nice bios. Set it up, and it refused to boot my W7 ssd, no matter what settings i threw at it, so gave up, and will do a full reinstall tomorrow, and then try my hand at overclocking with this board very soon!

Hope you enjoyed!

That looks amazing. Makes me want to rewire my 600t, but i just did that yesterday when i swapped out my power supplies cuz i had to rma the old one. I absolutely love the look of that motherboard.

Thank you and i hope you sort out the SSD soon and it boots OK for you. Looks very nice inside and looking forward to the final results once you had time to try it out. Phil.
