Well everyone, My old Machine Nuclear missile finally has been brought back to life. With a New case, New CPU coolers, New powersupplies, New GPU's, and New RAM. It's about time for the overclocking to begin
So as far as parts and current Specs, it goes as follows
Intel D5400XS Motherboard
2 Intel Xeon X5450's, Currently Overclocked to 3.6ghz @ 1.33v, Max temp with Prime 95 load, 62C
2 Sticks(soon to be 4) of Kingston KTM5780/8G Sticks, 667mhz, 5-5-5-15 timming, and 1.8 volts, OC'ed to 800 mhz, same timing and voltage, Memtest86 showed stable after 1 hour(BUT VERY VERY HOT, we are talking 95C, Making a ram Cooler using a 3D printer)
Bus frequency is 400(1600Mhz FSB)
MCH... I forgot. Also forgot the FSB voltage
GPU's, now 2 GTX 570's, Running at 940Mhz @ 1.175v with aggressive fan Curve, Modified by angel with different VRM's. Memory clock 2000Mhz. Hit around 75C under max load for extended time
PSU's, 2 Corsair CX750m's
So far, I have concluded that the 2 Stick of Ram are bottle necking the test due to using only 2 of 4 Channels on the MCH. Other than that, any suggestions on boosting the power and also other tweaks, say something.
I should post in the extereme cooling section, it's gonna be -50 monday. Like perfect OC weather, just stuff my machine outside
Here's my firestrike link btw(using only 1 570 at the time, Have yet to rerun the benchmark) http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1458888
