Huh.. how is calculating party data to put on an extra hardrive = performance..
any good Raid 5 controllers out there that dont hog up the PCIe bus? I havnt seen any.

Raid 5 writing performance is often slower then even one drive, while its reading is somewhat faster.

most importantly get a logitech g5 or g7 and a g15 keyboard

also get a nice screen

i see so much hype about this g15...i think, money not being a problem, that he should go for one of Optimus' keyobards where it has little LCD displays on each key that change depending on whats running on the computer....that should be coming out sometime is july...im not saying to postpone building the computer until then, imo i would buy a regular keyboard for now (g15 or whatever) and then in july buy an optimus...

4-8GB of ram
7900GTX SLI (I don't think there is a dual-940 crossfire board, or I would vote x1900 instead)

yeah i figured since money wasnt an issue it would be cool to have a technicolor LCD screen keyboard.... also....whoever posted that he should buy two 7800gtx's, the 7900s kick the crap out of those...
