Well I just changed my Vantec CCK 6035D with the Thermalright AX 7. I put AS3 on and I'm getting idle temps at 33 and full load temps at 37. I put a Sunon 80mm 50 cfm fan on it. I am very impressed with this heatsink. My Vantec was 35 idle and 41 load. That's with the AS3 being set in. Since the Thermalright is copper and aluminum and the Vantec is copper I didn't expect such good results.

I bought it because I didn't like the whine of the delta fan on the Vantec. Now my computers quieter and is cooler.

The only negative part was it is very close to the capacitors and you have to be very careful installing it.

Very good heatsink in my opinion.

UPDATE: Well the AS3 settled in and full load temp is 35 and idle is 31. This is with my system overclocked to 1546 mhz (XP 1600+). I think I can safely put it higher now without problems.

Yodums they have the Delta 80 cfm fan for it but I wanted it to be quieter and it is. I'm sure if you had the Delta on it you would get real low temps.

Unless they changed the final product from the pre-production AX-7 I have here, then it isn't "The greatest heatsink ever." Surprisingly, it did not perform as well as I expected it to, based upon the design, look and feel of it in my hand. Here's the results I got from the pre-production unit up against the MC-462a:
