I think they are underestimating this team. I know I did before I joined up. We shopuld be able to pull together and take over!!!

Well the inactive members bother me, but there's not much we can do about it if they don't frequent the forums. Since I have the team founder info I could send them all emails asking them to pick up the pace, but I don't know how much that would help. On the bright side I have watched with amazement as our top members have increased their daily production as much as 10 fold over the past few months. I tried to spur people on by building my giant farm at home. Looks like it worked as I was finally surpassed. I'm close to obtaining my goal of being in the top 1000, and I'm going to downsize a little, but I'm not backing off too much. I think we just need to encourage our most active members to add a machine or two when they're able to. Basher is taking one of my inactive XP 2000's systems next week. I have a few Epox boards and XP 1500's for anyone interested.

By the way,

Welcome to the team DorrellCO.

You showed a lot of integrity in the way you handled the move, You would be a credit to any team that you decided to join. I'm glad you choose us.

Good Luck!

Thanks!! I am happy with the move aswell. They have a great team which was hard to part from, but I needed to change.

Also Note I replaced a Duron [email protected] CPU with a [email protected] today. That will knock me up to 10 or so a day, and I have a 3rd system coming online tomorrow that will sport another 1gig [email protected] So that is three comps from me. 2- 1gig [email protected](one on a ABIT KT7A and 1 on a Epox 8K7A) and 1 [email protected](on a Epox 8K7A). That will get me up to about 18 a day or so. Climbing up the ranks here as fast as I can.

heres pricing for a system
mobo: $125 US
cpu:$130 US

etc....

sometimes i think it might be better to get stuff shipped to me from the states

Overall I think it is funny and fun watching the current battle between ourselves and AMDMB. :D Its good competition and gives everyone a reason to be active. We are doing a good job of getting our active members to really step it up...now if we could just get more of the inactive members to participate again that would be really cool.

I guess I am fortunate in that the machines I build get used for studying OSes and practicing various techs and providing home services and stuff so what I do is never "just for SETI". It is really great that it helps me in SETI just the same. With our cheap electricity I wish I could host a team SETI farm of some kind but my little apt can't handle the juice required.

Well..."CRUNCH ON!" :)

The secret to catching Athlonmb.com Seti Team, will be a stealth attack. They are kind of like a hornets nest - stir them up and they will attack - leave them alone and they get lazy and complacent.

Maybe we need to get our Warlord restrained just a little. Hey Basher - don't stir them up for a bit - at least until we are right on their heals. :D :D

I got the same impression. Leave them alone, and perhaps cache units like they used to do. Boom we blow by them and they might not even notice for a while.

Good idea. How long can WU's be cached before SETI resend the same ones?
Doesn't matter - multiple copies of each unit get sent to different people. When you turn in a unit in you get credit, regardless of how long it's been.

Hmmmmm............trying to plan a sneek attack huh? To sneek means to be quiet about it. Too much discussing the plan on here to be much of an effect. :D It's all good fun though guys.
