I just recently built an HTPC with the following specs

Asus 4650 1GB
Antec HTPC case with 350mw
Lite On Blue Ray Player
500GB WD
4g Ram
X-Fi Extremegamer sound card
MSI G31m3-f v2 mobo
Intel E3200 CPU
Win 7 x64

The HTPC is hooked up to my 47" Olevia and everything is working just fine except for playing movie. Using the video driver that comes with Win 7, I have no problem playing blue ray movie on Total Medial Theater 3 or Mediaportal. However, if I update the driver to 9.10, I get a single thin red line down the middle of the screen as well as a red square about an inch and a half on the upper right hand corner when playing movie on TMT3 and Mediaportal.

The strange part is that it does not appear on desktop or watching regular TV. Anyone heard of this problem before or have any ideas on what I could do to troubleshoot this?

AVIVO Demo mode

Posted the same question on ATI/AMD forum and got a response back, its because I have AVIVO Demo Mode on (on by default).
