I'm an AMD fan because I remember the Intel world before AMD appeared. But dispite the words by Hector (CEO) and other AMD officials things don't look good, link. Hammer better come through and those paper launches better disappear.

Ya ever wonder what CEOs relately do for a living? Besides getting over paid, of course. :D

actually i think amd is in the best position they have been in for over a year now.we have product to buy.

2 months ago looked really bad for em tho.i guess time will tell.

AMD's bread and butter has been its great horsepower/dollar value. I think now that the newer chips are widely available we can expect some price cuts that should right the ship a bit. Jumping back ahead of intel in the speed department well yeah that will take a real launch as opposed to a paper launch hehe.
