Ever since I learned that my current computer won't run Win 11, I've been researching a new build. Its no surprise its thirteen yrs old.
I know it'll run win 10, for the most part, it runs the games I'm playing. All the games are FPS-ers. The latest game is Dying light and I'll be playing DL2 when it comes out later this year. but I'm thinking it's time for a big upgrade. I've put together some parts and would like you "the professionals) to look it over and give me your thoughts. It's been a while so be gentle.

I didn't click the several links because I'm mobile. Can you list the hardware? I'd do that and links moving forward. This way anyone who knows doesn't have to click on links to see all the parts. :)

At a high level, get the best you can/want to afford. I7 over i5 surely. Get 32gb at 3600 speed for a sweetspot and a 850W psu will work great with any cpu and single card setup.

I'll check things out later when I'm on a desktop. :)

There's been an update to the WD SN750 Black. There is a gen4 version (SN750 SE) now, which should be faster than the gen3 you linked.

Looks like a solid build to me. BTW, there is a work around to install Win11 on you current system.

JLK,
Thanks, I'll check it out. Wow,really? Is this something you figured out or is there a site explaining how to do this? That could save some money:clap:
