Hi

I want to O/C the Duron 800Mhz I get a bit, is this mobo any good?

You did not put down an importent thing, PRICE.

I just picked up a Duron 800 with a Abit KT7E at a comp show and am happy with it Abit, they go for around $115.00 inc S&H on pricewatch.com.

Mobo was $97.00 @ the show.

And it's almost just as good so far as the Abit KT7A.

Read this.

Good Luck.

I know it costs under $100 for the one with onboard sound, but this motherboard comes with an earlier chipset, the KT133. The KT133A and the KT133E can overclock with high fsb, around 150MHz but the KT133 can only go around 110MHz on fsb. Also this Giga-bite motherboard is seriously lack on the overclocking options. Oh, it's a good mobo but it's bad for overclocking. If you want a good o/c mobo with good onboard sound, the Iwill KK266 will cost you $120 includes shipping.
Mobo w/o onboard audio, the Abit KT7E is a great choice for $110 includes shipping.
