Whelp i finally got dual channel ram (the $66 deal on geil pc3200 at newegg). So i oc'd my card to 500/950. (usually 850/900) I've had it at 505/980 before. I pretty much left my oc on my proc at normal.
Everything was like wow thats nice. I actually got a max of over 400fps in dragothic low detail. So I get to lobby it starts out at over 300fps. Then i guess the card must have to hot because the screen pretty much went blank and was getting 8fps (I went in the driver and the gpu was reading 54c. Ok so i let up on everything a little. Run 3d mark again whelp... I usually get about 13k-14k default. Now even oc'd i'm getting 12.4k.....
So i run 3dmark 03 my score is now 4400.... compared to my default of 5200
So should I format reinstall everything or did ocing somehow dmg my card internally? I'm not getting any artifacts.
Thats with 53.03 drivers.
I also have an active heatsink on my mobo's chip and it still runs about 115f.
