After about 6 months it was time for its scheduled tuneup and some modifications ...
wbs1.txt

The heavy rigid mesh piping that i chose was (i felt) keeping the WB from evenly contacting the core , this was a problem . So i went with some standard issue piping , yes they have lots of give & play , but i thought the benefits of having even contact outweighed some flowrate.

To my surprise, the (i dont know what the hell it was made out of) gasket was starting to fall apart and let out moisture . Just look at it trying to get to the core :D
wbs3.txt

The inside looked a bunch better then the outside .. i expected to see some deposits as i did b4 , but i didnt find any trace at all , i would have to say destilled instead of plain water does do the trick .

After shining up some of the insides anyway , i moved to repairing the gasket ; it didnt want to go peacefully and i was forced to scrape it off both sides.
wbs5.txt

to rebuild the gasket i used teflon tape, and thread sealant ... the sandwich worked pretty good , no leaks , and if anyone finds themselves in the same situation should definately give it a go .

Ahh , like brand new :D

After the new pipes and everything where put into place i leak tested everything and everything runs great . The released tension on the WB yealded me 5C better temps then yesterday so im quite happy . Thanks for reading my story :D

oh they'll be back :D this is the first time i ever hit tripods bandwidth per hour limit :D i looked at the chart and it went something like :

3:00pm = 0mb
4:00pm = 0mb
5:00pm = 0mb
6:00pm = 5.7mb
7:00pm = 45.2mb

now they cut me off for 2 hours

Am I seeing plastic zip ties on the soft tubing to keep it from kinking or flatening out where it bends???? If so, very nice idea.

yup you are , i put on a few more on the tight turning peice from the WB to the Rad ... but i didnt think it up , i have seen it from other places , i think i saw it from JFettig too ...

if you run out of bandwidth again just let me know and i'll host for ya. :)

looks like a nice setup. whats the benefit to the threaded hoses?

xX~EXCELSIOR~Xx helped me host my pics :D

Threaded is basically the poor mans tygon (spelling) its 2 layer piping with threads inbetween . Usually sold for high pressure applications , but i used it originally because its very hard to make it kink & closeup

woah, loks like you caught it just intime, before it sprung a leak.

A 5C diff in temps is a big difference, so its deffinatly paid off, nice 1. :)
