The prices are ... high, especially considering these are Zen 2. Obviously you're paying for 'professional' features - official ECC support, more memory channels, more PCIe channels, etc. - but the UK price for the 3995WX is £5k (US$7k) for the CPU alone! The board is almost another £1k.

If these were Zen 3 then the 16 core chip (~£1.25k) would almost be competitive with the 5950X given that it's going for almost £900, and well north of £1k on ebay.

The 3990 and 3995 both have same core/thread count, but the 3995 has a lower clock speed of 2.7GHZ and Newegg sells the 3995 for $5489 US. way out of my range
