There is a new Throttlestop 8.00 beta 6 available.
It allows control of volts and multiplier in software on Haswell ,and Skylake CPUs, It allows overclocking on unlocked CPUs only. It supports 6, and 8 cores also. There are a lot of other settings it can adjust. It's great for bypassing locked BIOS computers. I had good results with Throttlestop 6.00 on my LGA775 Dell BTX with locked BIOS. http://valid.x86.fr/bg4n0r
This is just an FYI post. I don't own any Core i computers so I can't answer any questions about the newer version. There are videos and screenshots on youtube.
