Could someone explain to me how a thumbnail can show more of a picture than when you open it. Like 30% more... I have some band pics, and I'd like to be able to see the parts that are only visible in the thumbnails?

So, you are saying that the tiny little thumbnail in your directory, shows more of the picture than a picture viewer?
Doesn't sound righ, and I think the problem is that either, you are zoomed in by default, or the viewer can only show some dimensions.

It isn't right. I can't figure it out. They're normal jpegs. When the pic is opened in any viewer or editor, half my guitarist is missing. But when you look at the windows thumbnail, you can see all of him. The corel thumbnail doesn't work like that tho.
