I'm currently using an Antec 430watt psu. All the voltages on it read fine but ive added some things to my rig and i plan on overclocking it back up since the weather is cold here again. Right now im running:
a64 3400+(newcastle .13 core)
1 gig ddr
fx5200 ultra video card
sb live 5.1
wifi card
cdrw drive
2 80gig sata maxtors in raid 0
1 maxtor pata 80
1 wd 80 pata

im also powering two 80 mm vantec tornado fans and 4 other regular case fans

the system is running fine now but will the psu become a problem with so much stuff as i push the cpu back up to 2.5 from 2.2 its at now?

Sounds like you have plenty of power for your system and plenty of cooling to go along with it. Some of the low end antec units like the smartpowers use cheap caps and end up having short lifetimes if they get to hot. Since it sounds like your system is well cooled and your voltages are okay you should be fine overclocking with your current setup.

You'll probably be good, unless you start oc'ing the cpu and REALLY want to pump up the voltages. Kind of off topic, but if you ever plan on watercooling, you'll need a lot more power to run a pump and keep your system stable with a high cpu overclock
