Titanfall can't get past menus, Titanfall has stopped working

Windows 8.0 can't get 8.1, DX11 can't get 11.2.

4890 920 Origin on C 50GB game on D drive because compressing audio files would have been too much work.

Tried:

All of those things

All of them.

Also tried adding "-safe" in the properties, didn't help. No antivirus, I'm only trying to run training because the matchmaking seems to be afk, and campaign seems like it needs people, too? lol. just amazing.

Also tried running some kind of DXFixer 3.0? The entire thing was written in Chinese but clicking a button caused some things to happen and everything said "ok".

Also worth mentioning that when I try and run the game it and origin just autocrash with no error and I have to shut down origin from device manager. The second time through it always "works" in that I can go in menus and stuff but the second I want to play it fails.

The lengthy intro video works without problems.

I've tried running titanfall.exe as admin but nothing happens ever. My only account on this PC is an admin account

So I'm open to all ideas and suggestions.

Running the ATI drive update software won't let me get anything newer for whatever reason.

People seem to think it's DX related but not really sure to go from there.

Do all other games work?
Any particular reason why you can't upgrade to 8.1?

I have no issues with anything on Steam or the Hitman games. This seems to be an issue that isn't exactly uncommon with all different types of setups so I really don't think a DX 11.x update is the solution.
