This is a super long shot, last week my friend got drunk and destroyed the shell of the strix 980ti box the outside box with the graphics, I was wondering if anyone was planning on getting rid of their box if they could let me know that would mean the world to me.

So here is the story, in the man cave he is drunk as hell, I am sober, and my other buddy had a couple but is fully functional. We were working on a custom build I am working on, specifically we were making a template for a milk plexi blanking plate for the motherboard tray and discussing how to enlarge the window on my case to make it look factory. I take it my drunk friend felt left out and started looking at my boxes and started opening a couple, he started with the simple stuff like my mobo box. I thought nothing of it, well when he go to my video card box, he went for the sealed side, i dont know why he just did, I take it after he was struggling, he decided to rip the outside box apart.

If anyone could help a brother out it would be extremely appreciated.

Thank you so much for reading

TL;DR: Drunk friend destroys my 980ti box :-(

A real friend and real man would fix this for you. Tell him you want a new box. He destroyed it, it's his responsibility to replace it.

i totally agree and when i told him what he did he said he would like to replace it for me, unfortunately i cannot find a single place that sells just the box, and i am not about to make him buy me a new video card.

Did you contact the manufacturer? I doubt they are short on boxes.
