my computer was getting crazy loud with my delta so i decided to take it off for awhile. temps are about the same. im not too supprized since I now have pretty decent case cooling.

a 3800 rpm sanyo denki fan.

I also added 2 80mm 2500 rpm sunon case fans. I have an antec sw1030b case. so there are a total of 5 80mm fans now including the psu fan.

system and cpu temps seem to be lower at idle with the sanyo denki fan. I think the delta was restricting airflow and my fans were working against each other.

I had a similar deal. I have 2 high rpm fans on my PIII. LOUD as a freight train at 3 in the morning. I run them at 7V now and actually dropped 1C and system temp seems a little lower. I think it was just too much turbulence....
