Tom's Hardware and AMD's weeks

I was browsing over at Tom's and noticed that the two Athlon64 chips that AMD sent over to be reviewed had two different production weeks. The 64 had 03/19 and the 64FX had 03/29. You would think that AMD would offer the best of the best of a new product for performance reviews. If that's true, I wonder if those Athlon64 production weeks were good for the rest of their products.
